[Despite the normal tripping of her words, she manages to keep her tone strong and her words clear. This is all instinct - all to help ground him as best as she can.]

I'm going to try my best, but I need you to trust me as much as you can right now, okay? W-whether you're with someone or not, I'm going to trust you to stay as safe as you can. A-and I'm going to find you!

[For a moment there's only the sound of aggravated breathing. His chest is tight, caught somewhere between his anger and his worry. Her words make him feel like he can't breath at all. Luna just got here, she shouldn't be so close to something so awful. All of it's awful, but the two of them...they were already in a pretty awful place, weren't they? At least here...they didn't have to worry about anybody betraying each other. That's what he'd hoped, anyway.]

I do trust you. I do. And I'd never...I-I'd never do anything to make you not want to trust me anymore, Miss Luna. So I'll try. I'll try real hard, okay?

I know, Quark. I believe in you - I'm going to keep believing in you, too.

[Good, that desperation in his words has died down a little. She lets herself grow gentler. Hopefully, he could redirect that panic into action, instead of sitting and being angry. Not that it surprises her, with what she remembers about how he reacted to Dio's trickery. But she also knows that she isn't Tenmyouji - she can't calm the boy down with a single sentence like the old man could.]

I'll still check in with you like I've been doing, okay? Both of us need to trust the Captain and the others that are trying to catch this man, wherever he is. Even if it's frightening to not be able to do anything... I'm still going to have faith in them.

[Quark closes his eyes and holds his breath and thinks of the rain. Of being alone and afraid and feeling like there's nobody out there who really wants him at all. And then he lets out his breath, and he doesn't feel better...but he feels calmer. If only a bit calmer. But it's better than he felt before. Much, much better.]

Okay. Please say safe, Miss Luna.

[It sounds much more like a soft plea, the panic no longer overpowering his words and his thoughts.]

I'll watch for your updates.
