[Fortunately, Quark isn't clever enough to see through a half-truth. And he has no reason to distrust England, anyway. On his end of the tablet he sighs, but figures...he'll just have to trust that Luna is fine. Maybe she's just...busy. He doesn't want to think of the worst.]
thats ok thanks anyway mr England!
[It feels weird to leave things at that. Even though Quark isn't exactly in a terribly positive mood and England's the one who started the conversation, he feels like he should say something else. Maybe to prove that he really is okay?]
i found something i think you would like by the way!
[Quark looks at the stuff he things England would like. Would it be better to make it surprise? Or just tell him outright? Well he know that England's definitely going to like what he found the most recently, so he starts with one that he's not actually sure about.]
your really old right???
[Wait that came out wrong.]
i mean youve had a lot of time to learn things right? do you know how to play instruments? i have a violin im not sure what to do with but it feels wrong to just leave it lying around
My age has allowed me to accrue a fair amount of experience in things, yes.
I've dabbled in music here and there. I'm better with a bass guitar these days than anything else, but I used to play other instruments. The violin would probably come back to me if I practised.
awesome! if you want it you can have it! and also i found this really neat mug that this kinda map on it and it says "The London Tube" on it. and London is the most important city in England right?
[He doesn't actually know very much about England.]
I wouldn't necessarily say that London is the most important city in my country, but it is my capital. A nation's capital is usually where its seat of government is, so it is, indeed, vital to smoothly running a nation. You could say that London is my heart.
[England just can't say it's the most important city because he can't pick favourites.]
What you've got is a map of the London Underground, which is a public transit system for the people that live in the capital and in the general area. It's a type of railway, and was the first of its kind, at that.
[He's just going to leave it at that, at first, but then he remembers he's talking to a child and thinks of something cooler to add.]
[It's a pity England can't see Quark's face light up. For a second the whole murder business is wiped out of his head.]
wow!!!! thats really really really cool! thank you for telling me about it! ive never been underground before is it scary?? and is it called a tube because it's shaped like one?
[It sure sucked to be down there because he was getting the absolute hell bombed out of him!]
But most of the time it's not scary. People use the Tube every day to travel to and from work. It's called "the Tube" because the tunnels through which the trains travel are sort of tube-shaped, yes.

[He'd better, anyway. If Luna gets hurt after this, Quark will probably be pretty resentful of their efforts to protect him.]
What is it you've got?

A lot of the rails are underground.

thanks for telling me this stuff mr England
your country is really neat and i wish i could visit it.
[But maybe he'll just have to content himself with hearing stories. Well, he definitely will.]

Thank you for saying so. I wish you could, as well; it's really a remarkable place.
I do have a couple of pictures that I was able to find here. Would you like to see them?
