[Their voice is a little bit shaky. Reliving their memories was... rough. And even after they'd stabilized, they'd had really bad nightmares that night.]

Quark? Are you okay? [Deep breath] Where are you? We couldn't find you. I'm... I'm sorry we didn't notice that you were gone.

[Just... be okay, all right?]

Night 71, voice

[Frisk doesn't get an answer until after lockdown. Quark had put down his tablet to have both of his hands for searching Shelley's house...and completely forgot about it. Well, that's half true. He forgot because he was distracted, but he distracted himself on purpose. He doesn't want to think about what just happened to them.]

Sorry, I didn't see your message sooner. I'm fine, I'm okay. [He sounds exhausted, winded, like he hasn't stopped moving for hours.] I don't...remember leaving. I'm sorry for worrying you. How are you and Sans?

You're okay!

[Frisk has no need nor desire to hide their relief, so they don't. He's alive. He's okay. That's all more important than anything else. Not that other things don't register. Frisk hesitates at the question.]

We're... okay. [Even they realize that sounds a bit pathetic.] We're not hurt or anything. We just... remembered a lot of stuff.

[Including things some of them shouldn't remember. But that's not... not super important or anything, right?]

Where are you?

[Quark doesn't delve too deeply into the discussion of how okay they may or may not really be. He has the feeling Frisk doesn't want to talk about it either. That neither of them are actually okay at all.]

Yeah, me too.

[There's an almost tense silence following the admission before Quark clears his throat.]

I'm at Shelley's house. I don't remember getting here very well, but I guess...I was really determined to get here!

[He tries for a laugh. He must have borrowed some of that from Frisk.]

I'm gonna keep looking around tonight, maybe tomorrow too if I can't find anything...you don't have to worry about coming to meet me. I'll come find you when I'm done.

[Yeah, despite the overall discomfort at the situation, Frisk can't help but grin at the sort-of determined pun.

They hesitate at his instructions though.]

I'm glad you're safe but... Um... we've already started looking.

[There's one other problem that they'll get to in a moment, but the fact that neither probably knows exactly where the other is at the moment is probably the bigger one.]
