Hooray! That's great news, Miss Luna! I'm up at the school! I've been staying here the past few days because me and Kesara are working together to look for clues. I'm really excited to see you again! Are you doing okay?

[Okay, switching to voice, except she has to immediately pause to cough into her elbow away from the microphone. Drat.]

I-I'm okay - I've caught a little something, but I'm okay.

Kesara... she's that girl who tells those grand stories on the network, right? Like the one about Kain last week.

[He hesitates.]

Sometimes I get the feeling she doesn't like me very much, but we're about the same age so it's important for us to have each others' backs. I really want her to be my friend.

...Well, sometimes it's hard to like another person, especially if you're very different. But I'm glad you're finding ways to work together.

And, even if it's hard... I think you should still try and treat her like you would want to be treated, okay? You're very nice and have a lot that you can do. Maybe she just doesn't see that the right way yet.

That's true. You're really smart, Miss Luna. Don't worry, I'll be as nice to her as I can! She could probably use some more friends, too.

[Which reminds him.]

Have you made any friends yet? Besides Dr. Clayton, I mean.

[She has to turn the question over in her head a few times, trying not to let the thought of Clayton make her heart sink too far. ...Had she make any friends?]

I think I've made a couple, at least, yes. Dr. Epps is the one I was travelling with the most, of course, but there's so many people to talk to besides that. Kain, Angel, Ginger, Dr. Watson... I was able to meet America and Alphonse a while ago. And I still have things to bring to England and Dr. House.

Oh, I almost forgot... Rhys' little robot! He's still with me, too. Have you met him?

Dumpy? No, I haven't! I've heard about him though, and he's showed up on the network a couple different times.

[Luna would probably be able to hear the smile in his voice.]

You found him in the snow, right? I think I remember you saying you found him back when we were all moved around. What's he like?

That's right. He's a very smart little robot. Angel told me that he used to be a type of, um... military drone, I think. Though it doesn't look like he has any sort of weaponry anymore. And whatever kind of equipment he was supposed to use to talk doesn't seem to be working like it should. But he still does his best to communicate.

[She sounds oddly proud of the poor thing.]

Let's see... He can sing a couple different songs. He enjoys getting hugs, quite a bit. And he cares for Rhys very much. I think they both miss each other horribly, especially now that Rhys isn't feeling well.

If it's okay, would you mind if the two of us brought Dumpy back? Angel said they should be at the house with warm water.

Yeah! I'm right next to there! I think it's important that they get their friend Dumpy back.

[Quark hesitates, as if he's embarrassed to ask his next question.]

Do you think he'd mind if I hugged him too?

O-oh goodness, that really works out for the best, then! Oh, I'm so glad, Quark.

I don't think he'd mind at all. He's a little loud, but I don't think he means any harm by it.

I do have a few other things you can look through, but we can save that for later. Maybe make it a surprise of sorts. [Because she can't outright tell Quark that she has root beer. Because he never told her. Yes, he'd talked to Tenmyouji about a root-beer float, and yes, she'd seen that on the camera backlogs along with everything else when she'd had time to snoop around. But Quark doesn't know that, and she wants to keep it that way.

So... surprise it is, for now.]
