[Tears spring to his cheeks unbidden and freeze on his lashes, making him grateful he's struggling through typing. He wants to say thank you, and that he appreciates this, but it's not what comes out.]

It's not your fault. This place isn't anybody's fault, and no one's ever been able to tell England what to do anyway. [He could never be upset at Quark. Norfinbury, sure, but not Quark.]

[There's a pause before Quark's response. He needs to spend some time working on his snow shelter if he wants any chance of survival. Not that he's very confident, mind you.]

You get really cold, and that part can hurt, but then you go numb, and then you fall asleep.

[That's not the only option, but America isn't going to tell Quark all about the various fun things frostbite can do right now.]

[That doesn't sound so bad...in theory. But it's hard to stay positive about any silver linings when you're stuck in that kind of situation. He tries to steady his breathing as tears fall from his eyes and freeze into icicles on his cheeks.]
